Nainital , Almora, Ranikhet , Binsar, Kausani – Kumaun Favorite sites to visit - Rangeelo Kumaun, Chhabeelo Kumaun

Kumaun is a part of newly formed Uttarakhand state in the northern part of India. Uttarakhand is divided in to two parts – Garhwal and Kumaun. Kumaun mainly consists of Nainital, Almora, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Champawat etc.
There are many tourist spot in this area like the famous Naini lake at Nainital , Bhimtal, Naukuchiyatal ( there are nine corners of this lake), Ram Lakshman tal , Ranikhet ( The base camp of Kumaun regiment who won several galentary award, Major Somnath Sharma was the first who won ParamVeer Chakra) , Binsar ( A place of wild life ) , Kausani ( A place where Mahatama Gandhi visted and delacred a must see sites to all and the sun rise / sun set is always a beautiful sight from there), Baijnath ( A place where 14th century temples are still stand tall), Almora ( A place famous for his special kind of sweet – Baal Mitthai ).
Halwani is the entry gate to Kumaun region and it is almost 150 Km from Delhi. So, A person who really want to enjoy the beauty of the nature, he must visit Kumaun region of Uttarakhand state.

It's such a relief to see all information in one place. Ranikhet is an alluring hill station with amazing landscapes views. There are plenty of hotels in Ranikhet and staying at these hotels is an experience in itself.
