5 W & 1 H - An effective tool for Root cause analysis

What , Why, When, Where , Who and How are known as the 5W and 1 H of Root cause analysis. These questions words always helps you to identify the root cause of any problem and if you able to find out the answer of all these words, You can easily dig out the problem and eliminate the problem from its root.

As an auditor for five years , I can easily recommend you to apply these words in any interviweing techniques of your personal or professional arena, you can easily find out the solution for the same and able to find the point where you have to strike.

What gives you the understanding of the problem, Why helps you to find out the reason of the problem, When gives you the time of the problem, How can gives you the idea of the method, Where identifies the place of problem and Who helps you to find out the person who is responsible for the problem.

So, whenever a problem persists or arise infront of you, try to find out the answer of these 5 W & 1 H , You will able to find out the root cause of the problem, then you can find the solution to eradicate the problem.
