Environmental concern is the burning issues in today's world. "Save Environment , Save Earth" is the new mantra to save the earth. Every year 22nd April is celebrated as Earth day and it is a serious concern of our generation to show our concern and committment to save this beautiful world to pass this is our next generation. There are several issues which needs our immediate action like Green house effect, Increasing temperature , decreasing source of non-renewable energy etc.

This movement really helps us when every individual take their responsibility and try their best effort to save this earth.

English language - A mixture of vowels and consonants

OUENOUAOU (a stream in the Philippines) has nine letters but only one consonant. It is the longest known place name with only a single consonant.

The longest word in dictionaries having only one vowel is STRENGTHS. The longest word with only one vowel (if repeats are allowed) is CHRONONHOTONTHOLOGOS (twenty letters). STRENGTHLESSNESSES contains only Es and is just two letters shorter.
The Five VowelsThe shortest word containing all five vowels exactly once is the six-letter EUNOIA, meaning alertness of mind an will (and also the title of a book by Canadian poet Christian Bok). Return of Carry Packer era in the form of IPL. Which team do you support?

18th April,2008 is a big day in Indian cricket as well as world cricket when the IPL ( Indian Premier League) formally kicked off at Bangalore with two teams - Knight Riders from Kolkata backed by Shahrukh Khan and Royal Challengers of Bangalore patronise by Charismatic Vijay Malya. The other teams are - Chennai super kings led by Mahendra Dhoni , Delhi daredevills skipper - Virendra Sehwag, Rajsthan Royals captianed by Shane warne, Decaan chargers in the leadership of VVS Laxman , Kings Punjab XI led by Yuvraj Singh who has the world record of hitting six sixes i n six balls in T20-20 world cup and Mumbai indian under the leadership of great master blaster - Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar.
These all teams are supported by coporate houses and what a glamour added into this IPL. BCCI , really made a lot of money by this move. This whole episode remembers me the Carry Packers era who really transform the international cricket to a real show biz and this is the latest edition in the form of IPL.
Let us wish for a great cricket and as a fan of cricket, I pray to God that it will not ruin the real cricket.

What happened with my Orkut account when I leave it sign -in ? Be cautious.

I do regularly explore the internet through my office but In my office some sites are blocked for suring like Orkut, Job sites and Porn sites. I have created a profile in orkut. Last week i have went to a cybercafe to send a resume through Naukri.com then i also checked my Orkut account and unluckily I forget to unclick the checkbox “ Remember me on this computer” and after some time light went out and i came back to my home.
One day after one of friend told me that at night I was through orkut but I told him that i did not log into my orkut that day.
After three days , i had visited the site and my entire profile was changed and there are some very wrong words added into my profile and this suy who used my profile already sent some very wrong messages to my friends. This was very ridiculous.
Then after, I have updated my profile once again. Please do take care of your account when you are surfing on net and do not forget to signout from your any account, otherwise it can be misused by anybody and you can faced the very occurred situation like me and if you are surfing from any common place , then never click on the check box “ Remember me on this computer”.

Email is an efficient communication tool. But managing the email inbox be challenging at times. Followings are the lists of four email management tips to help you reduce inbox congestion and frustration:
A. Take immediate action when you receive an email. Whenever you open an email, resolve to take one of the following four actions:
1. Delete/Archive: If the email requires no action, then either delete it or archive it
2. Reply: If you can quickly respond to the email, do it so you can delete or archive the
email.
3. Forward: If there's a more appropriate person to respond to the email, forward it on to
them.
b) If you're returning to your inbox after a few days away, try sorting your inbox by sender to identify chains of emails from the same people and to respond to the most current email in each chain.
C) . Respect other people's inboxes.
●Don't CC people unnecessarily.
●Don’t reply to all if the reply is only relevant to one or two of the people on the email.
●Make it easy for recipients to act on your emails by using subject lines that are descriptive and specific like "FYI:," "Reminder:", "Urgent:" and "Action Needed:" to help recipients quickly understand if action is needed and if so, how quickly.
●If you know that a coworker is out of town, don't send them email. Instead, save those emails as drafts and set a reminder to send them once the person returns.
D) . Organize your inbox.
●Set up rules in Outlook so that emails that you get regularly from a particular sender (such as newsletters and alerts) are automatically routed to a particular folder .Set up multiple folders to help sort and archive the emails you want to keep.
● Set your email program to check for new messages once every half-hour (or whatever time interval works for you). Email can be interruptive, so give yourself time to focus on other tasks.
● Keep your anti-virus and anti-spyware software up to date to avoid becoming part of a botnet
E) Actively manage your email newsletter subscriptions.
●Ensure that your newsletters are delivered to you by adding the "from" address to your address book or safe sender list.

What is Six sigma and SWOT Analysis

Intentionally or unintentionally we heard about sigma. When we read in any journals or newspaper about six sigma , we always think about sigma. If you were not a science student, then this word is always unknown to you. Let me explain – Sigma is actually used to denote the standard deviation in statistics or mathematical calculation. Sigma is actually a greek word. More sigmas means more precision. In short, Sigma is a statistical measure of the quality consistency for a particular process / product.Six sigma was initially implemented by motorola company in their television picture tube manufacturing company and Motorola really set a benchmark for other and now many companies following the path shown by Motorola.For an ordinary man, a company have more sigmas level means more quality product. So, six sigma approach is to get more and more specified and précised product by applying latest technology and taking the best results from the available resources.In six sigma level company only 3.4 PPM ( Parts Per Million) defects is allowed.
SWOT is the abbreviation for Strength – Weakness – Opportunities – Threats. When a delhi jal board water tanker reached at D-Block , People were rushed to tanker and road were jammed for 1/2 an hour. If this situation can happen in the capital, you can imagine , how another part of India will maintaining their life?

Know your IA's- Inborn Assets- Dare to do day dreaming.....

IA’s are the inborn assets of an individual. Everybody is blessed with some qualities by the grace of the god. Every individual have some IA’s.. IA’s is the acronym of Inborn assets. We often see in any child , there are some qualities which we praise in his childhood. But the question is- How many people utilize their IA’s in their career. I know one person who is very good in literature but his parents forced him to join engineering and today he is an engineer but not satisfied with this current assignment whenever he got the chance of playing with the words, he never missed the opportunities. He is today a very famous columnist in a leading newspaper along with his job in a company. My means to illustrate the example is – don’t suppress your IA’s , explore them. I also believe that an individual has some circumstances where he was not able to utilize their assets but atleast, he has to try to not killed them entirely. Whatever you are doing , doesn’t matter, and if it is as per your interest and accord, you are really blessed but if you are not doing as per your accord but you have to do it for many reason, don’t worry, try to put you legs into your favorite area. Whenever you have got a chance and possibility to show case your talent , do it and explore your wings. Nobody knows when your luck can take a sheer veer. These inborn assets are very helpful to anybody to cherish their life. Know your assets and make your life more easier and enjoy life in every way. Take the best from the life and be assure, life is ready to give you the best. This is an old saying that if you decide to achieve something and you are determined to do it, whole the nature make a conspiracy against you to fulfill your requirements. This is how, most of the great people succeeded in their life. What is "Brainstorming" All About?

Brainstorming is an excellent technique of developing many creative solutions to a complex problem. It works by focusing on a problem, and then coming up with very many radical solutions to it. Ideas should deliberately be pragmatic or non-pragmatic , and should be developed as fast as possible. Brainstorming is a lateral thinking process - it is designed to help you break out of your thinking patterns into new ways of looking at things.

It can be defined as “ A brain storming activity that is well executed should result in some very unusual ideas that is the underlying purpose for resolving the given problem.”Some points must remember during the brainstorming session - • During brainstorming sessions there should be no criticism of ideas - you are trying to open possibilities and break down wrong assumptions about the limits of the problem. Judgment and analysis at this stage will stunt idea generation.

• Ideas should only be evaluated once the brainstorming session has finished - you can then explore solutions further using conventional approaches.

• Define the problem you want solved clearly, and lay out any criteria to be met. • Keep the session focused on the problem and try to avoid the biased ness.

• Ensure that no-one criticizes or evaluates ideas during the session. Criticism introduces an element of risk for group members when putting forward an idea. This stifles creativity and cripples the free running nature of a good brainstorming session.

• Encourage an enthusiastic, uncritical attitude among members of the group. Try to get everyone to contribute and develop ideas, including the quietest members of the group and don’t ignore the suggestion of any member whether he is technical or non-technical.

• Let people have fun brainstorming. Encourage them to come up with as many ideas as possible, from solidly practical ones to wildly impractical ones. Welcome creativity.

• Ensure that no train of thought is followed for too long • Encourage people to develop other people's ideas, or to use other ideas to create new ones

• Appoint one person to note down ideas that come out of the session. A good way of doing this is to use a flip chart. This should be studied and evaluated after the session. Brainstorming can give you some radical solution to any complex problem and it is very effective technique , management is using to take the best use of it to extract the best from the possible or available resources.
