What is CRM and HACCP?

CRM is the abbreviation of customer relationship Management. Peter Keen, the well-known author who penned down some very good books like Shaping the Future (1991) and The Process Edge (1997) define the CRM as follows- “Customer relationship management is the commitment of the company to place the customer experience at the center of its priorities, and to ensure that incentive systems, processes and information resources leverage the relationship by enhancing the experience”. “In terms of technology CRM is the design, communication and use of information to ensure that customer develop more and more confidence, trust and sense of personal value in their relationship with the company.” A devoted company who really want to enter in the CRM realm have the following characteristics- He should have the proper listing of their profitable customers, keep abreast with the strategy to retain the customer, there should be a customer oriented system.

HACCP stands for Hazards Analysis Critical Control Point. HACCP is a method of ensuring food safety by examining every step in a food operation, identifying the steps that are critical to food safety and implementing effective control and monitoring procedures. HACCP System fulfills the need for food safety. HACCP are actually the standards for making our eatable safe and risk free. This also ensures a management commitment for ensuring food safety. These are some set guidelines to ensure the food safety. Every firm/ organization involved in making eatables related to food should comply with the HACCP to give the best product to their customers. In these guidelines, every enterprise strictly monitor its every critical step or activity which can affect the quality of the eatables and there are some process by which they are giving the best eatables.

Environmental concern is the burning issues in today's world. "Save Environment , Save Earth" is the new mantra to save the earth. Every year 22nd April is celebrated as Earth day and it is a serious concern of our generation to show our concern and committment to save this beautiful world to pass this is our next generation. There are several issues which needs our immediate action like Green house effect, Increasing temperature , decreasing source of non-renewable energy etc.

This movement really helps us when every individual take their responsibility and try their best effort to save this earth.

English language - A mixture of vowels and consonants

OUENOUAOU (a stream in the Philippines) has nine letters but only one consonant. It is the longest known place name with only a single consonant.
The English dictionary word with the most consecutive vowels (six) is EUOUAE. Words with five consecutive vowels include QUEUEING, AIEEE, COOEEING, MIAOUED, ZAOUIA, JUSSIEUEAN, ZOOEAE, ZOAEAE. The Hawaiian word HOOIAIOIA (meaning certified) has eight consecutive vowels and is listed in the 1976 Guinness Book of World Records.
HONORIFICABILITUDINITATIBUS is the longest word consisting entirely of alternating vowels and consonants.
UNITED ARAB EMIRATES is the longest name of a country consisting of alternating vowels and consonants.
The longest common word without any of the five vowels is RHYTHMS..
ASTHMA begins and ends with a vowel and has no other vowels in between.
The longest word in dictionaries having only one vowel is STRENGTHS. The longest word with only one vowel (if repeats are allowed) is CHRONONHOTONTHOLOGOS (twenty letters). STRENGTHLESSNESSES contains only Es and is just two letters shorter.
The Five VowelsThe shortest word containing all five vowels exactly once is the six-letter EUNOIA, meaning alertness of mind an will (and also the title of a book by Canadian poet Christian Bok). However, it is not included in any major English dictionary. There are several seven-letter words containing all the vowels, including SEQUOIA, EULOGIA, MIAOUED, ADOULIE, EUCOSIA, EUNOMIA, EUTOPIA, MOINEAU, and DOULEIA. SUOIDEA (the taxonomic group to which pigs belong) is the shortest word with the five vowels in reverse alphabetical order. The longest such word is PUNCTOSCHMIDTELLA (a crustacean).
ULTRAREVOLUTIONARIES has each vowel exactly twice. The shortest such word is CUBOIDEONAVICULARE, and the longest, USSOLZEWIECHINOGAMMARUS (a small crustacean).

Return of Carry Packer era in the form of IPL. Which team do you support?

18th April,2008 is a big day in Indian cricket as well as world cricket when the IPL ( Indian Premier League) formally kicked off at Bangalore with two teams - Knight Riders from Kolkata backed by Shahrukh Khan and Royal Challengers of Bangalore patronise by Charismatic Vijay Malya. The other teams are - Chennai super kings led by Mahendra Dhoni , Delhi daredevills skipper - Virendra Sehwag, Rajsthan Royals captianed by Shane warne, Decaan chargers in the leadership of VVS Laxman , Kings Punjab XI led by Yuvraj Singh who has the world record of hitting six sixes i n six balls in T20-20 world cup and Mumbai indian under the leadership of great master blaster - Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar.
These all teams are supported by coporate houses and what a glamour added into this IPL. BCCI , really made a lot of money by this move. This whole episode remembers me the Carry Packers era who really transform the international cricket to a real show biz and this is the latest edition in the form of IPL.
